Special Promotion for New Paid Subscribers (July and August)
Anyone who either upgrades their subscription to paid or joins as a new paid subscriber will receive one of several great goodies!
Hello, subscribers! As you know–since I tell you often enough–I love what I do here at Omnivorous, and I intend to keep doing it for as long as I can. However, much as I love writing pop culture analysis and fiction for their own sakes, I still have to eat and pay my bills, so I’m writing to you right now to encourage those of you who can to upgrade your subscription to paid so that I can continue providing the best writing that I can.
As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been producing more paid content over the past couple of months, and if you upgrade your subscription (or just sign up as a new paid subscriber), you’ll get access to all of that additional writing.
To sweeten the deal, I’m running a giveaway to anyone who either signs up as a new paid subscriber or upgrades their existing free subscription to paid:
* If you sign up as a yearly paid subscriber ($30 a year), you’ll receive a signed edition of my new romance novel, Country Road Romance.
* If you sign up as a yearly paid subscriber ($5 a month/$60 a year), you’ll receive a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble.
* If you sign up as a founding member ($100 a year), you’ll receive both a $15 gift card to Barnes & Noble and a signed copy of Country Road Romance.
My goal is to get to fifty (50!) paid subscribers by the end of August. If you can’t afford a paid subscription, please consider sharing Omnivorous with your friends, family, and anyone else who enjoys smart commentary and fiction from an independent queer writer.
One last note. A couple of months ago I ran a similar giveaway, and I’m happy to announce that Amy Norgard, who signed up as a founding subscriber, is the winner of the $50 gift card to the Buzzed Word, an indie bookshop in Ocean City, Maryland.
So, if you’re convinced by all of this, then go ahead and upgrade your subscription. You won’t regret it.
